the design contest has been an amazing experience so far..we have the most difficult job to do yet, but a job that we would love to have..the job of judging from hundreds of high quality designs..we still have one week left, so anyone wanting to become a last minute hero, this is your last chance..you got 7 days to show your stuff, and get rewarded…so hurry before the contest closes…

we are having a contest for all designers - pros, amateurs, anyone that wants to put color to paper t-shirt or mug..and in the spirit of the season, it is going to be democratic! hence the brave attempt to call it “public ka picasso”…

upload your designs at http://www.myntra.com/mkstartsellinghome.php?contestid=1 and publish them for all our users to get a look..the contest is open from aug 1 to aug 31, 2007..all our users will rate the uploaded designs and the best designs win great prizes..

the best rated design gets Rs. 5000. next 5 designs get Rs. 1000 each! the next 50 designs get Rs. 200 each!! and the next 100 designs get Rs. 100 each!! that all adds up to a nice 25K rupees

so get your crayons out, go crazy…and remember all these designs are available for sale on our site and if people do buy them you can get some handsome commissions too!!

myntra update

so it has been 2 months since our beta launch..we have got a whole lot of feedback from customers, both negative and positive…we are working on all of them..

here are a few updates:

we are offering official Wrangler branded round neck half sleeve t-shirts for men and short sleeve tops for women…quality of the cloth and colors are excellent…everyone who has bought it so far has loved it…

our mugs have been very well received..goofed up with the packaging initially, now we send the mugs in high quality thermocol packs..

our design collection is growing, do take a look and let us know…

we are launching a new design contest, will provide more details in the next post..

we are also getting ready for all the big days coming up - friendship day, independence day and rakhi.. we will have a lot of new designs available for your gifting needs..

we launched our site www.myntra.com about 2 months ago, and thought our entrepreneurial fire has been lit…who would have thought that this will bring with it so many other fires we would have to fight?!

anyway, trying to re-start the blogging thing again…have also heard that it is one of the new-age marketing tools so obviously we are going to try this out…
