We know it’s been quite long .. but it’s a startup and tons of things keep happening .. some negative, most of them positive (good for us)

But before we start on the updates, let us first wish you all a very happy and prosperous diwali, and hope you wish the same for us (with more emphasis on the word ‘prosperous’)

So here we go…

Update 1: Public Ka Picasso 2

The results are out, and you can visit Public Ka Picasso - 2 to see the winners. We are sorry for being unable to do a profile of the winners this time, but you can always visit the designer’s page to know more about them. Our design collection has been increasing steadily thanks to our designer community .. if you are one of them, please accept our heartfelt thanks .. if you are not, let me thank you for reading this post .. and of course, if you are one of our customers, we can never thank you enough!

Update 2: Seed Funding

We just closed a seed-funding round with Erasmic Venture Fund. This would help us invest in technology, infrastructure, operations, marketing, sales, customer service, people, signboards and free lunch for all employees (will miss the nearby dhaba though). On a more serious note, we now have some much-required cash in our coffers and are going to grow - faster!

Update 3: Our New Office

We have shifted from a 3 bedroom duplex flat to a formal office. It’s a nice spacious office complex .. gives us enough room to play cricket when we are not working. We have taken 2 floors .. the ground floor is completely dedicated to operations .. too many t-shirts, too many mugs, too many orders .. they needed too much space. All others hang out on the first floor .. we have a nice big boardroom where all our meetings, discussions, brain-storming, head-banging takes place .. it has already seen countless arguments, applauses and brickbats (we call it constructive feedback) .. little does it know that it’s going to get worse from here. Then we have a couple of smaller partitions for a couple of important things .. and a huge open space where you can find a few tables and chairs .. half of them occupied .. half of them waiting for the sutta-lovers to come back and spend some time with them. Guess I have written more about our office than you would be interested in .. but you know .. everyone here is a little senti about the new office By the way, let me give you a tip .. try using a stress-ball to play cricket in office .. we have experimented .. its harmless to computers.

Update 4: We have declared November as the month of updates .. and you are going to see a couple of interesting announcements over the next few days .. keep watching this space…
