Nicholas Fila and his brother started their first shop in Biella, Italy, in 1911.

In 1973, the now iconic ‘White Line’, named after the preferred colour worn to play tennis, was introduced which took the world by storm. They had proved that sportswear is as much for an athlete, as it is for an urban individual.
Fila was up-front-and-centre when Bjorn Borg, the eight-time grand slam winning tennis player, wore the brand. Ever since, many a top athlete in skiing, golf, basketball, etc. have sported the brand.
